Using a school Outlook account?
Sign-in is Google-only for now, so a school email or calendar that lives on Outlook/Office 365 needs one extra step first. Both take a few minutes and only have to be done once.

Some IT departments recommend against forwarding for reliability reasons. If yours does, using a personal Gmail address to sign up and checking school mail separately for now is the safer route.

In Outlook/Office 365, open Calendar settings and look for "Publish a calendar" or "Shared calendars."

Google refreshes a subscribed calendar on its own schedule (often every several hours), not instantly — a change made in Outlook can take a little while to show up here.
Why it’s different
Calendar apps show you time. Task apps show you lists. Mail apps show you mail. None of them know that the email about a moved exam should rewrite your Thursday.
